Promo photos taken for talented Kirikiriroa-based band Halcyon Birds. Pearl Hotene, Tonamu Namioka, Stan Jagger and Ben Gittings were a dream to work with and were up for anything, including an impromptu shoot inside a Frankton op-shop.

A photo shoot for talented mural specialist PaulyB for promotional purposes. The images were taken at Pauly’s studio and locations around Kirikiriroa alongside Pauly’s murals, with the aim to capture a sense of his artistic practice and his creative personality.

Website images taken for jeweller Kira Birchfield, capturing the essence of her stunning handcrafted pieces. The images were taken on location in the wild environs of the Westcoast.
Images were also taken with Kira in her studio to showcase her working environment and process.

The Project:
Website images taken for yoga teacher Zoe Watson with the intention of capturing the spirit of her yoga studio. The images were taken on location around Lake Kaniere, Westland. Water, movement and nature were key elements within the images.
Images were also taken indoors with Zoe and her students to illustrate her teaching practise.
